How customer feedback is helping us bring more to the table

At The Wellbeing Food Company, we believe that the foundation of any successful service business lies in understanding and responding to the needs of our customers.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new Spring/Summer childcare catering menu which we’re calling the Menu with More!

A direct result of listening to the invaluable feedback from the childcare centres we serve, this new menu has seen us raise the bar on childhood nutrition, added even more kid-appeal and made it easier for centres to cater for the children in their care.

We know that providing nutritious, appealing meals to children is about more than just ticking boxes. It’s about variety, quality, and ensuring that every bite contributes to a child’s growth and development.

Our customers expressed a desire for more diverse meal options, larger portions for children in the 3-5 age group, and simple meal preparation solutions for busy staff. We took that feedback to heart and responded with a menu that offers more choice, flavour, textures, colour and choice!

What we’re bringing to the table

Greater variety: We’ve expanded our selection to include exciting new fruit and vegetable combinations, exciting yogurt flavours, dips and snacks, and new shapes and textures with our pasta dishes.

Bigger portions: Customers told us they’d like larger portions for children aged 3-5, so we’ve increased our portion sizes by 33% for children in this age group.

Cultural flavours: We also enhanced our menu with cultural dishes like Middle Eastern lamb kofta and Mediterranean gyros, broadening the food experiences available to children.

Easier preparation: We have added new pre-baked items, such as mini breads, to save time in the kitchen for childcare staff.

Freshness & health benefits:  Quality, nutritious meals and snacks for children is at the forefront of everything we do. And our nutritionists and childcare catering specialists have delivered with this menu which features more fresh, seasonal produce, increased protein, wholemeal options, and reduced sugar to ensure the highest nutritional value.

Additionally, we’ve strengthened our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint by minimising packaging and cutting back on the use of frozen vegetables in our meals.

By listening to our customers, we are proud to deliver a menu that reflects the diverse needs and tastes of the children they nourish and nurture every day, while making their jobs just that little bit easier and less stressful.
